Company Fire Brigade receives a new banner
The Company Fire Brigade’s 50th anniversary coincided with the regional celebrations of the Firefighters’ Day. As the centre piece of Saturday’s festivities, Wacław Kozioł, Chief of the Company Fire Brigade, received a new official flag from Marian Rybak, President of the Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY Management Board. The aim of the event was to show gratitude to all of the Brigade’s firefighters for their long-standing service in the Puławy area and their dedication to ensuring public safety in emergencies at the Company’s premises.
Brigade members decorated
The firefighters of the Company Fire Brigade and all those involved in its activities were decorated with commemorative medals in recognition of their service. Local authorities and Company delegates praised the Brigade for professionalism and effectiveness with which they protect public safety at Grupa Azoty Puławy and in the wider Puławy region.
An important event for the whole region
The Company Fire Brigade’s 50th anniversary was an important event for the local community, attracting a large crowd of local residents. The celebrations were also attended by Włodzimierz Karpiński, Minister of the State Treasury, Paweł Jarczewski, President of the Grupa Azoty Management Board, Cezary Możeński, Chairman of the Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY Supervisory Board, Witold Popiołek, Puławy County Governor, members of the Polish parliament from the Puławy region, as well as local firefighters, both active and retired, and representatives of the National Fire Service.
