“Our plans for the near future are to develop the product through its enrichment with microelements. In cooperation with our partners, we are investing in intermediate terminals, which in the fertilizer season, like the one we are having now, are a key driver of success, guaranteeing proper service to farmers. Having confirmed its economic efficiency and agronomic value, UAN is becoming increasingly popular with farmers. We will continue our efforts in this direction, making decisions to support the UAN fertilizing technology,” stresses Mariusz Bober, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty.
The current UAN production capacities of the Puławy and Kędzierzyn plants are 1.5 million tonnes and 100 thousand tonnes pa, respectively.
