On September 16, 2025, Grupa Azoty S.A. and its subsidiaries Grupa Azoty Puławy, Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn, and Grupa Azoty Police signed bilateral agreements with Polska Grupa Górnicza S.A. for the supply of thermal coal. The agreements were concluded for a fixed term, effective from October 1, 2025, until June 30, 2028. The total estimated value of the agreements over their duration for the Grupa Azoty Capital Group amounts to approximately PLN 350 million net.
The agreements are the result of mediation proceedings conducted before the Arbitration Court at the Office of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland and the subsequent settlement reached by the parties. The mediation concerned disputed issues relating to agreements signed in 2018 and claims arising from interruptions in their execution. During the mediation, the parties negotiated the content of new agreements and agreed on compensation for coal customers totaling PLN 63 million, thereby amicably settling the dispute.
