A STRONG QUARTER FOR PUŁAWY
In the first quarter of 2015, Grupa Azoty Puławy earned net profit of PLN 175m on revenue of PLN 1.07bn. The Company improved its performance on the prior year (net profit of PLN 98m and revenue of PLN 0.98bn) and beat analyst forecasts, which put the profit and revenue figures at PLN 145m and PLN 1.04bn, respectively.

GRUPA AZOTY GROUP POSTS SOLID Q1 2015 PERFORMANCE
The Grupa Azoty Group reported revenue in excess of PLN 2.8bn in the first quarter of 2015 (versus PLN 2.7bn in Q1 2014), with net profit close to PLN 306m (compared with PLN 151m in Q1 2014). EBITDA also improved year on year, having increased by PLN 163m, to PLN 485m, from PLN 322m in Q1 2014.

GRUPA AZOTY’S FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR 2014
For 2014, the Grupa Azoty Group reported revenue close to PLN 9.9bn (2013: PLN 9.8bn) and net profit of PLN 265m (2013: PLN 245m, net of one-off items). EBITDA also improved by nearly PLN 100m year on year, to PLN 822m in 2014.

GRUPA AZOTY ESTABLISHES A RESCUE EDUCATION CENTRE
The Grupa Azoty Rescue Education Centre – CERGA is a modern unit responsible for cyclic and specialist training of firefighters and chemical rescuers working for Grupa Azoty. “This is a new quality in the area of security, chemical rescue and firefighting activities in Poland,” says Artur Kopeć, Member of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty.

WE WILL EXAMINE THE IMPACT OF FERTILIZERS ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY, in cooperation with three research institutes, is launching a new project to examine how the application of fertilizers in Poland affects climate change. The consortium coordinated by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation − State Research Institute has received a grant for this purpose from the National Centre for Research and Development.

GRUPA AZOTY MANAGEMENT BOARD APPOINTED FOR A NEW TERM OF OFFICE
On Friday, January 9th 2015, the Supervisory Board passed a resolution appointing members of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. for the new 10th term of office. The new Management Board will comprise Paweł Jarczewski as President of the Board and Krzysztof Jałosiński, Marek Kapłucha, Marian Rybak, Andrzej Skolmowski and Witold Szczypiński as Vice-Presidents of the Board. The Supervisory Board resolution takes effect on February 20th 2015.
