GRUPA AZOTY’S RECORD YEAR
Grupa Azoty closed the 2015 FY with record-high results. Net profit reached nearly PLN 692m, up by PLN 427m year on year (2014: PLN 265m), and revenue was in excess of PLN 10bn, against PLN 9.9bn in 2014. Earnings per share went up over 160% on the previous year. EBIT and EBITDA margins, net of non-recurring events, came in at over 8% and nearly 14%, respectively.

FINAL PROJECT OF THE NEW FERTILIZER COMPLEX PLACED IN SERVICE
One of Europe’s most advanced solid fertilizer production units has just come on stream. BGK TO CO-FINANCE A NEW GRUPA AZOTY GROUP POWER PLANT PROJECT IN PUŁAWY
Grupa Azoty Puławy, Elektrownia Puławy and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego have signed an agreement on the financing of a new project to construct a 400 MWe low-emission waste-free power plant in Puławy. The value of the project will exceed PLN 1bn.

GRUPA AZOTY PUŁAWY TO OFFER EMPLOYMENT TO TALENTED UNDERGRADUATES
Students of the Lublin University of Technology and the Military University of Technology have now a chance to gain paid work placements at Grupa Azoty Puławy. Also, the best three interns will be offered permanent employment at the Company's new power plant, which is currently under construction. On Tuesday, June 30th, the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy signed an agreement with the rectors of both universities.

LAUNCH OF THE ‘GROUNDED IN KNOWLEDGE’ NATIONAL SOIL TESTING PROGRAMME
‘Grounded in knowledge’ is the title of a three-year research programme carried out nationwide by Grupa Azoty and its partner PKO Bank Polski, to measure pH and nutrient content of soils in Poland. Under the programme, the companies plan to reach almost 2,000 farms across Poland and have 28,000 soil samples tested by the Regional Agrochemical Stations.

INVESTMENT BOOM AT GRUPA AZOTY PUŁAWY
NEW ENERGY FOR THE LUBLIN PROVINCE
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY begins another round of large investment projects. A new power plant and a new mechanical granulation unit for ammonium nitrate-based fertilizers are scheduled to be completed by 2019. By 2021, the Company will also modernize and enlarge its nitric acid production unit. These three projects jointly will cost the Company over PLN 2.2bn, and will be the largest investment projects of their kind in the Lublin Province over the next five years.
