THE AZOTY-PUŁAWY SPORTS CLUB BECOMES THE THIRD FORCE IN POLAND

The Azoty-Puławy handball players achieved a great success this season by winning the first bronze medal in the Club’s history. This achievement coincided with a milestone anniversary of the team’s presence in the highest tier of the league system. On May 27th, the players and coaches met with the representatives of the Club’s general sponsor.

PRESIDENT BRONISŁAW KOMOROWSKI VISITS GRUPA AZOTY PUŁAWY

"My visit here today is an opportunity for me to say that industrial and economic growth can and should be achieved through wise work. And it can be pursued with due regard given to sustainable development and environmental considerations" said Polish President Bronisław Komorowski during his visit to Grupa Azoty Puławy. The President was given a tour around the site where new process units are being constructed, and met with the Company's Management Board and employees.

Grupa Azoty Puławy topped the ranking of the best businesses in the Lublin Province in the ‘Pillars of the Polish Economy’ awards programme organised by the Puls Biznesu daily. The winners of the 2014 edition of the ranking were announced during the official ceremony on Wednesday, April 15th 2015.

MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENTS

Grupa Azoty Puławy will supply Kronopol with PULREA (urea) and melamine for the next five years under contracts worth an estimated PLN 770m. The contracts have been concluded for a period of five years, until the end of 2019. Under the agreement, Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY, Europe’s leading producer of fertilizers and melamine, will supply Kronopol with PULREA (urea) and melamine, which are necessary in the manufacture of wood-based boards (MDF, OSB and chipboards).
